This course is designed to build upon your existing makeup skills. Together we will create three different bridal looks to turbo-charge your makeup skills and take them to the next level! This course will give you insights and confidence in how to create those modern and red carpet-inspired makeup looks that are so on-trend right now.
Course Outcomes
On completion of this course, you can expect to feel like you have “levelled up” your bridal makeup skills. You will have a greater understanding of product knowledge and a range of new skills to take your bridal makeup to the next level!
Included in this course is a 1.5 hour follow-up coaching session 4 weeks after the course to see how you are getting on.
To get the most out of this course, I would advise we work in two consecutive days in one week, but we can look at alternative options if this isn’t possible.
You will be working on a model for all three looks, and you will leave with three different high-res portfolio images.
All courses are one-to-one and will be based at my garden studio in Whitstable.
My teaching style offers hands-on, step-by-step tuition in a friendly and caring way, so you will leave feeling confident in your new approach to your makeup skills.

Dewy, glowy foundation techniques that still achieve longevity.
Sculpting and highlighting techniques using both cream and powder products.
Creating beautiful eye makeup looks to flatter different eye shapes.
Eyeliner application & techniques - how I create that modern feline eyeliner technique.
Smokey eye techniques.
Individual eyelash techniques - how to place them precisely to open up the eye.
Eyebrow shaping and correction.
Bold and nude lip techniques.
Transforming your bridal makeup look into an evening/ party look.
Body makeup & how to create a seamless makeup from face to décolletage.

Day One
Demonstration & Theory - 9:30AM – 1:00PM
Practical demonstration - I will show you how I create my signature bridal makeup look. This is your opportunity to ask as many questions as you like on my product choice and application.
1:45PM – 4:30PM
Your time to get stuck in! Through this practical session I will start coaching you through the basics of creating a beautiful bridal makeup. We will finish by photographing your work so you have some high quality images for your portfolio.
Day Two
Practical & Introduction To Colour Theory - 9:30AM – 1:00PM
We will start the session with an introduction to colour theory and choosing the best shades for your clients colouring & preferences. Working on your model, you will create your second bridal makeup look. We will finish this session with a photography portrait session. I will teach you how to photograph your work at its best.
Practical & Photography Session - 1:45PM – 4:00PM
Corrective techniques and building upon a makeup to transition into a more glamorous evening look. I can demonstrate how to correct any mistakes quickly whilst on the job. From uneven eyeliner to cleaning up a bold lip, I will show you how to correct these quickly without starting over. I will then demonstrate how we can enhance your bridal makeup to go from day look to an evening look.
This session will be finished with a professional high-res image.
4:00PM - 4:30PM - Feedback & Q&A
This is where we will recap what you have learned, and chat through feedback and a Q&A session.
Follow-Up & Coaching Session
Included in this course is a 1.5 hour follow up coaching session 4 weeks after the course to see how you are getting on.
